AV Installations

AV Installations provides advice, design, installation and maintenance services for audiovisual presentation systems in QUT teaching spaces, meeting rooms, labs and other spaces (e.g. digital signage). Staff act as project managers for most installations and liaise with industry.

Services include:

• the maintenance and upgrade of AV equipment in Faculty Media Equipped Lecture Theatres (MELTs) and other media-equipped teaching spaces
• specialist consultancy, advice, design and installation services for all building and renovation activities

This service is available to all QUT cost centres.

The service is available between 8am to 4pm, Monday to Friday.

Clients are charged for staff time at $75 an hour.

Staff resources are limited, workload is high and lead-time can be quite long (especially in non-teaching periods).
