Technology is increasingly becoming an essential ingredient of teaching and learning at QUT. In support of QUT's mission to 'provide outstanding learning environments that lead to excellent outcomes for graduates' (QUT Blueprint), IHS offers a range of services to ensure that QUT's central teaching spaces function, that the state of the art equipment provided supports our staff and students' teaching and learning ambitions, and that technical support is available within acceptable response times.
The services provided include support services related to multimedia and AV equipment in teaching spaces, lecture and off-air recording, as well as AV equipment loans. We are also engaged with other service areas such as Facilities Management and TALSS, ITS, The Library and Faculties in the design and development of future teaching spaces.
